Making a choice is never been easy. Until I decided to apply a job to Standard Chartered Bank via their website. Then, I found that they opened a job opportunity in Consumer Banking Fast Track Programme.
Ok then, I applied it, and submitted some particularly documents like cv, degree certificates, transcripts. If i'm not mistaken it was 13th february 2014.
on that time, after submitting the necessary documents, they sent me an email to take an online test. the test is like usual psycho-test: number, image, patterns, and should be done around 2 hours. after that, i got an email that i was successful doing the test because it is online test, so that the system can automatically check your answer.
the next days, i got phone call from india, that they would conduct a phone interview on next monday.
moving forward to monday, got call again from india, and they connected me to people in Indonesian branch, then, he started to ask me some question that related to my last experiences in campus. the interview was conducted around an hour. they will ask you about the problem that you encounter in your campus or last job, and how to overcome it.
then, they called me again, that i passed the interview, and asked me to come on friday at the same week to do the final interview and role play... but, I couldn't. the scheduled was needed to be re-reschedule to next week 27th february 2014.
27th february 2014, i flew to jakarta, FYI i'm from Surabaya. take the final interview with the user. then, doing the role play as Relationship Manager. the interview liked usual interview, she will ask you about your CV, your dreams/plans, why you choose that, want you do this do that, etc. the role play itself was not difficult as you expected. you will be given scenario about a client, then, you as his Relationship Manager should do something to enhance their portfolio based on their needs. Tips for the final interview and role play for me is wearing a formal attire with tie. using slim-fit attire, don't look like old-fashion, because as an RM you should care about your appearances.
28th february 2014, they offered me the job that mean i was accepted. they told me the salary matter, the allowances, etc.
then, the next phases is sign contract and medical checkup. it was easy, just completing your document, signing contract as usual, and doing the medical checkup. it was lucky for me because i did the med-check in Surabaya. they sent me the covering letter to refer to hospital/laboratory in Surabaya.
then, 2nd April 2014, the CBFT is started. wish me luck guys!
Summarise :
For me, it was very fast phases compared with other MT program from different banks.
here is the milestone:
thursday, 13th february 2014, applying and doing the online test
monday 17th february 2014, phone interview
thursday 27th february 2014, final interview + role play
friday 28th february 2014, acceptance
it takes 3 weeks to pass the stages. 2weeks if i don't rescheduled the final interview actually

4 business subject lagi yang kudu diselesaiin dalam 4 bulan kedepan. this sort time ini aku lagi berpikir keras.. err ga keras keras amat sih, untuk nentuin which choices should i take : stay in singapore to work or for good to Indonesia to start my own company..
Just Simple analysis about both countries (Sgp and Indo)
Singapore :
- chance to work : not really good this year or maybe some more... denger punya berita, government lagi cut down the number of foreigner, and give more opportunities buat local people disana.
- saving and income : oke, standard s2 2500-3000, and rata2 spending 1000-1500. so, kita bisa save 1500S$ kurang lebih , and kalo dirupiahin sekitar 12jt-an *wow*
- such a boowring country : hey... jgn bilang : kan ada USS, orchard, marina bay, dll... gw udah bosan seujujurnya kesana. sisi positif negeri ini aman, teratur, rapi, dispilin. but, you feel like you are in jail country. all is noted, just like i said to my friend: "susah disini kalo mau bunuh orang, bingung sembunyiin mayatnya dimana."
- chance to start company : oke it is easy as long as you have a bunch of money, that itu gak masuk akal buat gw yang fresh graduate ini tentunya
Indo :
- chance to work : besar sekaliii... mau jakarta?sby? luar pulau sekalipun, dimana mana bisa..
- saving and income : hahaha, ini masalahnya.. anggep gaji 5jt, spend 3jt.. save 2jt ( 1/6 kali gaji singapore).. cuman kadang gw masih percaya ada perusahaan di jakarta mau gaji 10-15jt buat s2, so anggep spend 2jt ( oitt,, akomodasi nya? ,, beruntung banget gw ada ortu di jakarta) so, bisa save sekitar 8-10jt misalnya... kalo cuman beda 11-12 ama singapore, why not jakarta?
- bowring? gak juga, i have friends, bali, family.. the cost to pleasure is cheaper loh kalo bandingin sgp
- chance to start company : IT IS BIG, BIGGER THAN THIS WORDS....
pemikiran gw sampe skrng sih, indo is better daripada singapore. ntah gw benci banget singapore atau gimana ya..
to be continued in my next post...

Celebrating CNY
Landlord ask: "Where is Matthew Sugiarto?"
Me : "oow, go back indo.. err. i also go back next week"
Landlord ask again: "celebrate chinese new year meh?"
Me : "no, just school holiday"
Landlord : "so, you dont celebrate CNY, you are indo chinese right, why?"
Me : .....
I cannot answer, because when i am at indo, i can everytime, everyday come to my family ( my mother fams or my father fams) if i want. so, why celebrating those kind of culture?
Kumpul bersama? maybe true. but, not in my culture.

Arti Teman
teman golongan 4, diambil sisi positifnya saja.
5. golongan terakhir : teman tapi mesra :p (just joke)
teman golongan 5? kasih tau gak ya????

Renewing Passport at Indonesian Embassy
Hi guys,
Today i want to share my experience when i renewed my passport in indonesian Embassy. My passport itself will be expiring at May 22rd 2013. Then, i decided to renew it in Indonesia Embassy that is in 7 Chatsworth Road, actually it is near orchard road yet it is hard to reach there by bus, no bus stop right there, all you can do only taking cab.
Arrived there, you should leave your any card such as EZ Link, discount card, etc except your IC, Pass because it is maybe needed inside. then, you'll get the guest card name-tag and you should wearing it.
After that, the officer will show you where you should go. then, get the green form near the entry door and walk to near locket to get your queue number.. While waiting, you should fill the green form that you get before.
The important things you should not forget, yes your datas, which are :
Thanks God, i will get the new passport with handsome face.. :) ... i don't know who is he in the left photo :). hahaha, it was me in 2007 when i still studied in bachelor degree. and the right one is me now :D

The important things you should not forget, yes your datas, which are :
- 2 Passport Size Photos (I recommend you to bring your 2 passport size photos. it is expensive to take photo inside there. you will be charged 10S$ to get 6 bad quality photos).
- 1 photocopy passport front side and back side and your passport itself
- 1 photocopy of Kartu Keluarga ( you can ask your family to scan it and send to you)
- 1 photocopy of student pass or any visit pass in Singapore
When your number is shown in the screen above the locket. go to the locket and give all the documents. the officer will check one by one and they will give you bill that you should pay in cashier. it costs S$35 and you only can pay by cash. after that go to the next locket and give the receipt. the officer will ask you to stamp your fingerprint in the green form and your task is finish. they will inform you to come again in following three days work to get your new passport. while you are waiting your new passport, your old passport will be taken by them and you only have your IC that belongs with you.
Flashback to some minutes before go back home. I was waiting the queue and very boring. so i took a look a while my photo in my passport and the new photo that i just took.. here is :(
Thanks God, i will get the new passport with handsome face.. :) ... i don't know who is he in the left photo :). hahaha, it was me in 2007 when i still studied in bachelor degree. and the right one is me now :D

James Cook University vs National University of Singapore
this is my story ..
NUS
-aku daftar Industrial and System Engineering
JCU
"gila, lu kira lu sapa ger???"

First Time Experience Hanging Out with Friends from Different Countries
Today, 5 November 2011
I want to share about something, that very interesting for me, and i wish my writing skill is not bad at all.
yesterday, after finishing my english class, my friends and me went to dinner and playing pools. firstly, i introduce my friends to you :
Lucy : vietnamese girl, older than me. she sits beside me in class, and smart girl.
kelvin : vietnamese boy, also older than me. smoking guy, smart also good at playing pools.
meriana : same country with me, but from pontianak, the youngest person in my class, also good at english.
elvis : chinesse person, 19 y'o. he likes if han sol calls him "o ba" (south korea language, it's mean brother that older than she)
hansol : south korea nonna.. when meet her, i just think about Secret Garden ( Korean Drama Movie that i've watched it lately)
Bonnie : nu-ren (chinesse woman), her's style likes korean people hahah..
chen hua : chinesse 21 y'o, man. fat but nice person..
afterthat we went to bugis first to eat.. We ate steam bot/shabu shabu.. it was very interesting for me. Why? i 've never eaten with other people that from different country, different culture.. and... Talking with them with english language, very hard. maybe if just said about about inviting to go out, ask some question, or simple and daily conversation ,it is not really difficult, but when we speak about food, the flavour, how to cook them, aaa.. very hard for me.. my vocabulary isn't enough. and when i want to talk, i must open my cellphone to get the right vocab. >.< . very very interesting, priceless time for me.
hmm.. another difficult one is Going to play pools.. can you imagine, how to teach someone in english language?? aaa again.. very hard.. put it into the hole, hold the stick, move your finger,hahahah.. aiaiaia.. but it's more fantastic than what i think..
ok, this is my story about going with my multinational friends, i just want to say..
when we are living in another country, far from our family, our girlfriend, our closed-friends, it's very hard. But you don't need to think about it, just set aside. think about your aim, why you was here, why did you go there..
furthermore..after you live in here.. don't just at home, watching movie, chatting with relation.. But making relationship with another person that you don't know before, another country indeed, it's more fun, get some experience with them, if some friends ask you to join their activity, for sure, join it. Because it will give you more experience that cannot pay buy money, it's priceless friends..
